History of the .32 Winchester Special Cartridge:
The 32 Winchester Special is a rimmed cartridge which was introduced in 1902 for the Winchester Model 1894 Lever-Action rifle.
The 32 Winchester Special is a 32 Caliber (.321") version of the 30-30 Winchester 30 Caliber (.308") cartridge which was introduce in 1895, so do not try to fire a .32 Winchester Special in a 30-30.
Remington made a rim-less version of the 32 Special and called their cartridge the 32 Remington Auto-Load.
