One Cartridge, not a box: .243 Winchester  “Etronx, Electric Primed” by Remington Arm Company, using Remington brass cases with “R-P 243 WIN” Head-Stamp and loaded with a 90 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip,or  PCJHP (Plastic Covered Jacketed Hollow Point) projectile.

History of the Remington Etronx (Electric Primed) cartridges:
Remington introduced the  Electric Primed "Etronx" in the  mid to late 1990's, in three  calibers loaded by the factory,  220 Swift,  22-250 Remington,  and 243 Winchester.
The case, propellant and bullet  are conventional components, the difference is in the primer,  the EtronX system utilizes a  patented technology to  electronically discharge the  round.
The Rifle; "Traditional M700 had a retail on $1,999.00 and was not affordable or well  received by the general public.
These are Factory loaded cartridges and considered Obsolete and no longer made by Remington.

History of the .243 Winchester Cartridge:
The .243 Winchester was introduced in 1955 by Winchester for their model 70 bolt-action rifle.
The .243 Winchester is basically a .308 Winchester case necked down to accept 6mm projectiles.
This was a very successful caliber as Winchester had the foresight to use a tight 1 in 10 twist in the Model 70 barrel to stabilize heavier projectiles up to 100 grain, making this a great "all in one" hunting cartridge from varmint to deer.
Still a good pick today for the one rifle home.
