One Cartridge, not a box: .22-250 Remington “Etronx" Electric Primed”  by Remington Arm Company, using Remington brass cases with “R-P 22-250 REM” Head-Stamp and loaded with a 50 grain V-MAX, PCJHP (Plastic Covered Jacketed Hollow Point) projectile.

History of the Remington "Etronx" (Electric Primed) cartridges:
Remington introduced the  Electric Primed "Etronx" in the  mid to late 1990's, in three  calibers loaded by the factory,  220 Swift,  22-250 Remington,  and 243 Winchester.
The case, propellant and bullet  are conventional components, the difference is in the primer,  the EtronX system utilizes a  patented technology to  electronically discharge the  round.
The Rifle  ,"Traditional M/700 had a retail on $1,999.00   and was not affordable or well  received by the general public.
These are Factory loaded cartridges and considered Obsolete and no longer made by Remington.

History of the .22-250 Remington cartridge:
The  22-250 Remington began as a wildcat by necking down the250-3000 Savage (also called the 250 Savage) to .22" caliber, by Harvey Donaldson in 1934.
The 250 Savage was designed by Charles Newton in 1915 and named it the  250-3000 because it was a 25 (250) caliber, and would go 3,000 Feet per Second.
Somehow Remington got the rights to the design and started production under the 22-250 Remington label and introduced it to the public in 1965.
I personally load and shoot this caliber and it is a great cartridge and easily produces 4,000 + Feet per Second velocities with 50 grain projectiles.
It is one of the best all round varmint cartridges and has outstanding accuracy.
